"This year has been tumultuous, as war continues to rage in many parts of the world, and people, including families and the elderly, are struggling to make ends meet because of the rising cost of living. At times it can feel like we have lost our direction and purpose in life ... I look back on the year and I am deeply grateful for the love and support you have shown the Carmelites and especially those we serve in Australia and Timor-Leste. Many young people have been supported in their education, our Carmelite students continued on their formation journey, and many people have received pastoral and spiritual support," says Fr Bruce Clark (Prior Provincial) in the latest issue of our Carmel Contact newsletter.
