Students at the English Language School for Pastoral Ministry recently visited the National Gallery of Victoria. Charged with identifying various works from their own cultures, it was a disappointment that the 2 pieces by Timorese artists were not on display.
Nevertheless, according to Carmelite student, Fr Narcizio Da Costa Vilanova, the whole class enjoyed the trip. For many it was the first time to see classical works as well as some unusual contemporary pieces.
Fr Narcizio will complete his English language studies in December this year.
