The Carmelites and the Parish of Port Melbourne/Middle Park are seeking a Maintenance Manager (0.4TE).

The Carmelites operate two neighbouring eight-unit apartment blocks in Middle Park. One of these operates as a retirement village and the other as a mix of social housing, disability accommodation and regular rental accommodation.

The Parish of Port Melbourne and Middle Park currently owns and runs five heritage listed buildings, including two Churches, two Parish Halls and a residential facility.

These facilities are, for the Carmelites the responsibility of the Business Manager of Carmelite Fathers (Vic). For the Parish, the Parish Priest of Port Melbourne and Middle Park is the responsible party.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible to the respective authority for each group of buildings, but an office will be provided in the Carmelite Parish Hall in Rouse Street, Port Melbourne.

The breakdown of the weekly hours would be approximately 7.5 hours for Carmelite work and 7.5 hours for Parish work with a total of 15 hours per week.
