Carmelite superiors and delegates of the Asia, Australia and Oceania Region of the Order are gathering in Melbourne from 11-14 April.

Present are: Fr Benny Phang (General Councillor, Asia Australia, Oceania), Fr Michael Kissane (Provincial, St Elias), Fr Ignasius Budiono (Provincial, Indonesia), Fr Artemio Jusayan (Provincial, Philippines), Fr Paul Cahill (Provincial, Australia & Timor-Leste), Fr Jacob Robin (Indian Delegation), Fr Joseph Tran (Vietnam) and Fr Marlon Lacal (Philippines).

On the first day Fr Ignasius Budiono presented the morning session on Inculturation and in the afternoon Fr Benny Phan presented a session on Formation. The second day will be devoted to listening to reports about local conditions in the various provinces, general delegation and missions in the region. In the afternoon, contributions and proposals for the 2019 General Council will be discussed.

The meeting is being held at the Carmelite Province Centre, Middle Park, VIC.
