On Sunday 6 December Brs Cesaltino Dos Santos, Julião Dos Santos and David Soares made their first profession of vows to Fr Denis Andrew (Prior Provincial) during Mass at Santo Elias Community in Hera, Timor-Leste.
Family, friends and Carmelites gathered to celebrate the Mass marking the end of 2 years of Novitiate formation for these young East Timorese.
Fr Bruce Clark (Regional Prior and Novice Master) celebrated the Mass in Tetum and Fr Denis received the temporary commitment from each of the newly-professed individually.
Congratulations to Cesaltino, Julião and David on taking this important step on their Carmelite journey. As they continue to learn more about Carmelite life they will also be taking up their ministerial studies at the Salesian Seminary in Dili.
