We are honoured to be participating at this year’s Ignite Conference being held in Brisbane, Australia. We join over 1500 delegates gathered in faith! Representing the Carmelite family, Fr. Matthew Tonini OCarm, alongside Fr. Adalbert Imperial OCD, have set up a special Carmelite space. This is a sacred opportunity for us to share our Carmelite charism—rooted in contemplation, prayer, community, and service.
Over the next three days, they will share the many ways the Carmelite vocation is lived out in parish and school communities, religious life, and through the broader Carmelite family. Whether you're new to our spirituality or have journeyed with us before, our space is a place of encounter, reflection, and discovery.
As part of the Ignite Conference, we are joining over 2000 young people, leaders, teachers, and religious in an unforgettable experience of worship, sacraments, and inspiring formation. Together, we invite the Holy Spirit to renew our hearts and guide us as we rise up, filled with God’s love, and committed to serving His Church.
We look forward to sharing stories, celebrating our faith, and walking this journey of renewal and mission with all of you. Let’s RISE UP and embrace this powerful encounter with Jesus!
