The Carmelite Library is reopening to the public on Tuesday 6 February. The Library closed to the public on 28 September 2023 to enable the new Library management team to work with the Carmelite Library Interim Board to collaboratively develop recommendations as to the most appropriate long-term structure for the library's operation.
A great deal of work has been done rehousing book collections, streamlining procedures and sorting through the backlog of books to be classified. Read more. Wikipedia Library page.

The Library is now open every Tuesday 10am - 3pm.
