Two Carmelites from the Province of Australia and Timor-Leste will attend World Youth Day to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, during the first week of August this year.
Fr Matthew Tonini (Coorparoo, QLD) will be travelling, as chaplain, with the Queensland St Vincent de Paul Young Adults group, made up of over 20 members from across Queensland.
Br Agostinho Dos Santos (Hera, Timor-Leste), chair of the Carmelite Youth Commission in Timor-Leste, will also attend with youth from the Dili Archdiocese.
There will be an international meeting of Carmelite Youth in Fatima in the lead up to World Youth Day.
