The Carmelite Provincial Council has announced the appointment of new Parish Priests for Port Melbourne/Middle Park and Wentworthville parishes.
Fr Paul Cahill will take up his appointment to Port Melbourne/Middle Park (VIC) on 20 December, replacing Fr Hugh Brown. He will also be Prior of the Port Melbourne Carmelite Community. Fr Paul recently completed 6 years as Prior Provincial of Australia and Timor-Leste.
Fr Januario Pinto has been appointed Parish Priest of Wentworthville (NSW) parish from 26 December. Fr Janu is currently assistant priest in Wentworthville and has also served as assistant priest in the Carmelite Parish of Coorparoo (QLD).
