Carmel Impact’s 2021 Annual Report is now available for download here.
The report highlights some of the successes achieved through The Carmelites’ work in Timor-Leste last year and recognises the valuable contributions from a broad Australian and international network of supporters who enable these important projects to continue.
As Fr. Paul Cahill said in his report as Chair of the Board:
“Carmel Impact proved itself versatile in responding to the needs of the East Timorese people in working with local communities to provide flood relief in various forms to the many families and communities affected by Cyclone Seroja, which struck a large part of the country with devastating effect over the Easter weekend… Whilst providing this extraordinary Emergency Flood Relief, Carmel Impact was able to maintain its ongoing programs in Education, focusing particularly on youth leadership development.”
Carmel Impact is registered charity of the Carmelites Australia & Timor-Leste and is committed to building grass roots relationships so we can better serve the people who need it most and create lasting positive change in Timor-Leste.
