Married couple, Maria and Bernie Howe, recently made their final profession (lifelong commitment) as Lay Carmelites at All Saints Church, Shellharbour (NSW). The ceremony took place during the regular Saturday evening parish Mass celebrated by Fr Paul Gurr, OCarm. Relatives, friends and Lay Carmelites from Jamberoo and Wollongong communities joined parishioners for the Mass. Lay Carmelites present also renewed their vows at the end of the ceremony.
